As many of us in the United States prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday—often a time to gather with family and friends for a delicious feast—there are many others in our communities who don’t know where their next meal will come from. In fact that’s true for 1 in 9 Minnesotans currently, including 1 in 6 children. 

But there are some incredible hunger relief organizations working to mitigate this, including Second Harvest Heartland. Your $25 registration fee for joining our team or your donation will support them in providing more food to the community. 

To join the team, click on the "Join Team" button on the right side of this page. You can then choose any day in November to complete your walk. For those in the Twin Cities (Minnesota), a .6 mile walk route, activities and prizes are available at the Mall of America but you can walk wherever and whenever works best for you during November. Have fun and invite your family, friends, dog(s)!
